What you need to know about guest friendly hotels in Nosy Be!

You should definitely check the ID card yourself for the age of your beauties of the night!
Under no circumstances should you rely on the statement of a girl you do not know that she is already 18 years old.

No matter how beautiful and interesting a girl is, if she doesn’t have an ID card, say goodbye to her!

Why aren't all hotels in Nosy Be Guest Friendly?

A lot of hotel owners in Nosy Be just don’t want bar girls, freelancers or massage girls to go in and out of their hotels. Other hotels in Nosy tolerate it, but see the calculation of the joiner fee as an additional source of income. If you bring a girl to these hotels, you have to expect to pay a joiner fee. Some hotels even go so far as to not allow visitors in the room at all! This can be disappointing if you want to have a fun vacation as a quality tourist on Nosy Be.

Can several women be brought into the room?

Most guest-friendly hotels in Nosy Be allow a free guest in the hotel room. An additional fee may be charged for an additional guest. On this point the joiner regulations of the hotels are slightly different. The first girl is always free and you will usually get breakfast in the hotel for the first guest! Just check the guest friendly hotels in Nosy Be hotel lists that I have created. You can read everything in the joiner guidelines of the respective hotel and be on the safe side before making your reservation!

Does the room have to be reserved for two people?

This makes perfect sense. If someone is bothered by the fact that you want to take a visitor to your room, you can always point out that you have reserved the room for 2 people. The prices are usually the same as a single booking. Check them when you make your reservation! Regardless – the hotels listed on this page are all girlfriendly!

Hotel Coucher de Soleil

It is typical low budget accommodation. The simple rooms have no air conditioning, no refrigerator, no wardrobe. The furnishing of the rather small rooms is very simple, but adequate. Safe in the room, fan, bed big enough and comfortable, mosquito net, table and chair, two deck chairs in front of the door, bathroom with hot water. The way up to the hotel is exhausting. But the view is great. The rooms and the garden are clean and well-kept. Taxi is organized from the airport for 50k, breakfast is $3 per person. German and English are spoken in the hotel. The owner is Swiss.

FAQs
Nosy Be – interesting facts for fun tourists

Here you can find some answers to questions regarding Nosy Be, Madagascar.

About Nosy Be: Small island off Madagascar.

When you arrive at the airport on the island of Nosy Be, also called Nossi-Bé off the northwest coast of Madagascar, you will be greeted by the smells of exotic aromas, including saffron, cinnamon, vanilla, lemongrass and ylang-ylang. Lush green forests, bright blue volcanic lakes, smiling Madagascans and waves gently hitting the coast pamper your senses. The main town of Hell-Ville is much more inviting than the name suggests – although it is of no interest to a fun tourist. French colonial buildings line the sea and ancient, rickety taxis are waiting to take you to the best spots on the island.

Where to go on Nosy Be as a fun tourist?

For the intentions of a fun tourist looking for fun on vacation, Ambatoloaka should be chosen as a base camp. In the small town of Ambatoloaka and on the adjacent beach of Madirokely you can find young women from the island and the surrounding provinces. The girls spend the whole day in town or on the beach looking for a customer for a massage, short time or more. Contact with western vacationers promotes their own prosperity. These girls often live in very poor conditions and already appreciate a hot shower in the hotel. The Madagascar women are very open-minded in all things. So it often happens that they take the initiative. There is a small, manageable tourist infrastructure with cozy open-air restaurants and bars, discos and a few small shops. Of course there is also a selection of guest friendly hotels in Ambatoloaka, where there is no problem taking one of the many local girls present to your room without a Joiner Fee. Other areas of the island are not recommended for the fun tourist!

Is there a nightlife (bars, clubs) on Nosy Be?

Yes there is. But only in Ambatoloaka. I can recommend the following bars and clubs in Ambatoloaka:

Le Taxi-Be bar
There is a great party going on there every day from 8 p.m. Most of the time a live band plays African / Malagasy music. Countless young women throw themselves into tight dresses and high heels. You are spoken to from all sides, smiled at and nudged.
Le billiards
Is another one of those tear-off bars. While Le Taxi Be plays more live music, Le Billard is more of a disco bar – with pool tables, of course. Both bars are right next to each other on the “main street”. Both bars are ideal for making initial contacts.
No comment beach bar
Quite a new bar, but very popular. The bar is very well filled, especially on weekends – with girls!
Taty & Chris Bar
The bar at the other end of the bay is only open on Sundays from 1pm to 11pm. There’s always something going on in front of the bar on the beach. If you take a walk on the beach you will meet many young, pretty women on the way there. From Le Taxi Be you walk along the beach for around 10 minutes.
Djembe discotheque / La Sirene disco
Both discos are a bit outside, north of the center towards Madirokely. If anything, only recommended on weekends.

There are no special prices in the bars. The girls are not employees of the bars, but freelancers and therefore normal guests. Therefore, there are neither barfines nor lady drinks.

How does the fun cost Nosy Be?

Short time:
20,000 MGA to 40,000 MGA. 30,000 MGA are usually accepted by the professionals in the bars.
20,000 MGA is accepted by the ladies on the beach for a massage with extras.

Long time:
Sometimes requires a little more negotiation skills. The usual rate is from 40,000 MGA for an overnight stay. Correspondingly more for a 24-hour accompaniment.

Are there street walkers on Nosy Be?

Not in the classic sense.

In Ambatoloaka, street walkers are most likely to be on the section around Le Taxi Be or Le Billard. You go in and out of the bars, then stand by the dozen on the street in front of it, or walk up and down in front of the two bars.

They are expected to be spoken to. Sometimes, as a man, you are also spoken to yourself. In a casual conversation, you can clarify the most important cornerstones and then move on together.

As early as lunchtime, the massage service providers keep walking up and down the beach.

What transport options are there on Nosy Be?

No. It is an exception when an employee speaks a few words in English in a hotel. The even bigger exception is when a girl speaks English. French is spoken. It is therefore an advantage to be able to make something understandable in this language. The translator always helps.

How is health care on Nosy Be?

There is no way health care can be compared to that of the West. If you have a medical history and need immediate treatment if necessary, Nosy Be or all of Madagascar is the wrong travel destination. There is a pharmacy opposite Taxi Be where you can buy common medicines, including: also the little helpers. Halfway between Hell-Ville and Ambatoloaka there is the “Centro Sanitario Santa Maria della Grazia Medical” on Nosy Be. This is a small, reasonably modern hospital run by an Italian NGO. The nearest usable hospitals for major medical emergencies can only be reached by flight on Reunion Island or in Johannesburg.

Are there beaches on Nosy Be?

The beach on Nosy Be is not that perfect. The sea keeps washing up seaweed that remains on the beach. However, this is a natural fact. Sometimes the seaweed is removed, but often it just remains. The beach itself is very nice! A little further north in front of the local luxury hotels and resorts, the beach is of course better cleaned. The water temperature in Nosy Be is pleasantly warm at 25 degrees. The water is clear and clean.

What is there to see on Nosy Be?

There are various kinds of excursions offered by the providers in the hotels, on the beach and on the main street of Ambatoloaka in small shops. The main destinations are national parks. Anyone on Nosy Be should visit Lokobe National Park. The park is home to a unique species of black lemur. Access is only possible with a local guide, who feeds the cute animals with fruit to attract them. The surrounding islands offer snorkeling and diving opportunities (Tropical Diving is recommended) in the calm waters. A good insight into an incredible underwater world is given. Sea turtles can be seen year-round, as are humpback whales and whale sharks seasonally. Hell-Ville is also worth a trip.

Is there cellular on Nosy Be?

The cellular network for telephone and internet is well developed in the cities. The prefix for Madagascar is +261. It is best to buy a SIM card from Telma or Orange on arrival at the airport and book a package. The staff usually set everything up. The prices change occasionally. For around 25,000 MGA there is 2 GB. An SMS and telephony package should also be booked. Many girls do not have a smartphone or the money for the Internet.
